Do peptides actually work?
It depends entirely on which peptide. GLP-1 agonists have large randomized human trials (STEP-1: ~14.9% body weight loss over 68 weeks). BPC-157 and several longevity peptides rest mostly on animal data with very limited human evidence. Judge each compound on its own record.
Are peptides steroids?
No. Peptides are short amino-acid chains that signal through receptors; anabolic steroids are synthetic hormones. Some growth-hormone secretagogues are on the WADA prohibited list for competitive athletes, which is a separate issue from legality.
