How Veritide scores providers
Every provider is scored on five weighted axes, each 0.0–10.0. The overall score is the weighted average, shown as X.X/10 with a letter grade. Here's exactly how it works — and why we don't inflate.

Providers cannot pay for a score, a rank, or inclusion. We score first, on the rubric below, then disclose
any affiliate relationship. The receipts: we earn a commission from 2 of the 8 providers
we review, and our #1 and #2 ranked providers are not among them. Six of our eight reviews

Is a named, licensed physician reviewing each case? Are board certifications disclosed? Is lab work required before prescribing, and is there ongoing monitoring — especially at higher GLP-1 doses? Async-only models with no required labs score lower here.25% · Pharmacy sourcing

Overall = (Clinical × 0.25) + (Pharmacy × 0.25) + (Pricing × 0.20) + (Catalog × 0.15) + (Experience × 0.15). Letter grades: A = 9.0+, B = 8.0–8.9, C = 7.0–7.9, D = 6.0–6.9, F below 6.
Why the honest ceiling is in the 7s–8s
Compounded medications are not FDA-approved as finished products. Most telehealth GLP-1 providers
run async-first with light lab monitoring. Pricing models frequently bury refill step-ups or
upfront multi-month commitments. A provider that does everything well within those category
constraints earns a high-7 or low-8 — a genuinely strong result. We reserve headroom above that
for a provider that meaningfully exceeds category norms.Our data sources

Methodology FAQ
Do providers pay to be included or ranked?
No. We score providers on the rubric before any commercial relationship exists, and we do not sell placement. When we earn an affiliate commission, it's disclosed and it does not change the score.
Do you only review providers that pay you?
No — and it isn't close. We earn a commission from 2 of the 8 providers we review. Our two highest-ranked providers (Hone Health and Marek Health) pay us nothing, and neither does FormBlends, which posts our best pharmacy-sourcing score. Six of our eight reviews have no commercial upside for us at all.
Why is nobody scored above 8?
Compounded GLP-1 is a cash-pay category where FDA doesn't approve the finished product, monitoring is lighter than a traditional clinic, and pricing models are inconsistent. An honest ceiling sits in the high 7s to low 8s. We'd rather be useful than flattering.
How often do scores change?
We re-verify pricing monthly and re-score when a provider changes pharmacy, pricing model, state coverage, or receives regulatory action (e.g. an FDA warning letter).
