Are peptides legal in 2026?
Prescribed peptides dispensed by a licensed 503A compounding pharmacy against a patient-specific prescription are legal. They are not FDA-approved as finished products. Seven compounds go before the FDA's advisory committee on July 23–24, 2026, which will shape what pharmacies can prepare.
What is the 503A bulks list?
The FDA's list of bulk drug substances compounding pharmacies may legally use. A peptide on the list can be compounded broadly; one left off faces restrictions that narrow prescribed access.
