Hone Health Review (2026)

Lab-driven hormones, TRT + GLP-1. We scored Hone Health on clinical oversight, pharmacy sourcing, pricing transparency, catalog, and patient experience — the same five axes we apply to every provider, before any commercial relationship.

Our verdict

Hone is the only provider we reviewed that requires bloodwork before writing a prescription and bundles ongoing labs into membership from month three — the correct clinical standard, and the reason it posts the highest clinical-oversight score in our cohort. The trade-off is a two-part bill: membership ($129–$149) sits on top of medication cost, which makes the true monthly number harder to read than a flat all-inclusive competitor.

Pros & cons

Strengths

 • Requires baseline bloodwork before prescribing — the right clinical standard
 • Labs bundled into membership from month three (removes the classic billing surprise)
 • Trustpilot 4.8 across 10,000+ reviews — largest sample in our cohort
 • BBB accredited since Dec 2023; no FDA warning letter on record
 • Live video consultation with the prescribing physician, not async-only

Watch-outs

 • Two-part billing: membership plus medication makes true cost harder to read
 • More expensive than flat-rate GLP-1-only providers
 • Longer onboarding (10–14 days) because labs come first
 • Add-on pricing is widely described as confusing

Who Hone Health is best for

Best fit
Patients who want lab-driven, physician-supervised hormone and metabolic care and are willing to accept a membership-plus-medication pricing structure to get it.

Frequently asked questions

Is Hone Health legit?
Yes. Hone Health is a LegitScript-certified telehealth platform that connects patients with licensed US clinicians and FDA-registered compounding pharmacies. Compounded medications are legal but are not FDA-approved as finished products — a distinction that applies to every compounded GLP-1 provider, not just Hone Health.
How much does Hone Health cost?
Entry pricing starts at the rates in the table above; verify current pricing at checkout as it changes. Hone Health is cash-pay only and does not bill insurance, though HSA/FSA funds are generally accepted.
What pharmacy does Hone Health use?
Partner compounding pharmacies, selected by state and product; PCAB/LegitScript/NABP/USP 797 stack advertised. Always verify the pharmacy name, active ingredient, concentration, and beyond-use date on your label when your medication arrives.
Does Hone Health require lab work?
REQUIRED before first prescription (40+ biomarker panel); bundled into membership from month three. If you have diabetes, an elevated A1c, or cardiovascular risk factors, consider arranging periodic metabolic labs even when they aren't required.
What states does Hone Health serve?
Nationwide (availability varies). Availability depends on state-specific telehealth prescribing rules, so confirm your state is covered before starting intake.
